What a great experience; I learned so much about guitars. Michael Charvel taught me a lot. The class went very well my guitar plays like butter!
I recommend it to anybody that loves guitars, especially nicely crafted guitars. It was a dream come true.

Dear Michael,
I have been playing guitar for around 40 years now. I've been buying, selling, and collecting (I currently have approximately 50 guitars at home). I've purchased some from well-known Rock Stars. I learned so much from your course, even with all that experience. It was an excellent investment and a lot of fun, and the result is a guitar that is Custom built and plays and sounds better than anything in my collection.
It was truly amazing. To see and learn the attention to detail that a true master craftsman puts into building a quality instrument. The level of professionalism and passion afforded these guitars is a truly eye-opening experience and well worth the course investment. It makes one appreciate the methodology behind building a quality custom guitar.
The course is in-depth. It covers neck adjustments, fretwork, how to wire, how to adjust the Floyd Rose, set-ups, and much more. The attention to detail is extraordinary.
So yes, I highly recommend this unique course; you will have the best guitar you've ever played, practical knowledge you can use repeatedly, and good memories that will last a lifetime.
I just wanted to say thank you, Michael Charvel, for the Wayne Guitar building course. I love the results! I had a lot of fun listening to all your antidotes and stories from over the years.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I change the headstock to that famous 50's shape headstock?
A: No. When you take the guitar home, it is your guitar. If you modify it to resemble a trademarked headstock, you risk a possible trademark infringement lawsuit from the trademark owner or owners.
Q: Can I put the Wayne logo, Wayne headstock design, or Wayne neck plate on it?
A: No. Same reason as above.
Q: Do you offer custom engraving on the neck plate?
A: No. The neck plate that is on the guitar is blank. Once you finish the course and take your guitar home, you can engrave the neck plate.
Q: Can I get a discount if I bring my pickups, bridge, or other hardware?
A: No. The pickups, bridge, tuners, etc., are carefully selected to guarantee the best guitar build. You can replace parts at your home if you choose to, but no discounts are offered.
Q: Can I get a different color than black?
A: Yes. You can get any color you want, as long as it is black.
Q: Can I get it in a different pickup configuration?
A: No. The guitar is only available in a double humbucker configuration.
Q: Can I get different pickups other than the Seymour Duncans?
A: No. You can replace the pickups after the course when you get the guitar home.
Q: Can I change the body or neck wood?
A: No. All guitar woods have been carefully selected with no substitutions.
